Fun with Illustrator's Chart Tool

Statistics provided in Excel format. Imported into Illustrator. Some use of InDesign's Table function also. Task was to make dry content visually enagaging for the reader.

Computerworld Cover, Issue 10/08

Responsible for cover layout and creating 'mobility' photomontage using stock library.

Art-Directing a Photoshoot

Brief was to design a one-off supplemental magazine (saddle-stitch) as a summer special comprised of spreads featuring photos and technology reviews; hardware arrived on premises and I worked with in-house photographer direct images. Deep-etching, etc of images was required. Job required lots of white space and a sophisticated look.

Major Event, 'Building the 21st Century'

CIO Conference, September 2004. Created photomontage to suit theme of the event. Applied art to all event collaterol inlcuding foyer signage and stage-sets. Featured above is the DPS magazine ad.

Major Event, 'Converge 2004'

Created a photomontage to suit theme of event. Applied the art to magazine ads (above left) and printed invitation (above right). Invite was printed on cream-coloured stock and design feature was use of a die-cut to create curved corners on lower right edge of invite front flap.

Corporate Identity: NuPhone Technology

Corporate identity design with two PMS colours. Client was "NuPhone Technology" and logo was applied to stationary suite.

Corporate identity designed in 2000 for 'Global Experience'. Three PMS colours used. Logo applied to full stationary suite and client website.

Half-Day Event, "Reducing the Complexity"

Brief was to create bold, colourful, non-pictorial creative material. This is the DPS magazine ad for Computerworld 'Technoology Insights' branded events. This design has no bleed. Design translated into online use very successfully. Size: 224 x 276 mm

Major Event "The Virtualisation Landscape to 2010"

Double-sided brochure folded into thirds and mailed out in DL envelopes.
Printed on a gloss stock. Finished size 185 x 255mm

Brief was to create a Photoshop montage to serve as a piece of art throughout all the event collaterol. Only mandate from client was to include their server images, which were intregrated into the photo montage. Other images were stock photos from Photolibrary.
